Dr. Emily Schaeffer Appointed Director of Research, BCCH

Congratulations to Dr. Emily Schaeffer, who has been appointed as the Director of Research for the Department of Orthopaedics at BC Children’s Hospital, overseeing all research initiatives and supporting the department as the research program grows. Dr. Schaeffer has worked closely with Dr. Kishore Mulpuri to research paediatric hip conditions and orthopaedic trauma and she was instrumental in creating the International Hip Dysplasia Registry, a collaboration of surgeons, researchers, and medical professionals dedicated to improving the lives of children with hip dysplasia.
